Soegijapranata Family Welfare Foundation (YKKS). YKKS was established in Semarang based on the notarial deed of Subiyanto Putro number 35 of 2004, with a vision to assist families who were struggling with crises, to build and develop a spirit of brotherhood, and to develop a spirit of hope through an open and friendly association. Loving sincerely and prioritizing the small, weak, poor, marginalized and disabled people. Services were carried out with the spirit of togetherness, gender equality, respect for children’s rights and human rights, child-friendly, regardless of political sects, race, gender, religion, and social strata. In carrying out services, YKKS paid attention to gender equality and in its vision of organizing women’s groups to be empowered and independent for their welfare. This institution has been established since September 8, 1977 and during that period, YKKS was involved in empowerment programs, especially for women.
