About Us
Established in 2005, The Learning Farm is a not for profit organization that aims at boys and girls within the age of 14-25 from disadvantaged or vulnerable backgrounds and provide them with a second chance in life. Organic farming are used as a teaching medium for this group of youngster as it provides them with experiential learning of self-discipline, time management, task and responsibility as well as environmental protection.
The farm serves as both an educational center and an organic farm, where young people feel welcome, work directly with supportive adults, and have a chance to focus their energy and intelligence on building meaningful skills and relationships that will help them over the course of their lives. Students take responsibility for tasks related to running the farm and participate in structured learning activities that utilize “experiential learning” process.
