About Us
Penabulu Foundation was founded in Jakarta in 2002, based on a certificate of notary No. 1, on October 22, 2003, which arranged by Rita Riana Hutapea, SH, a public notary in Jakarta, which has been confirmed by decree from Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights No. C-435 HT.01.02.TH 2004, dated August 5, 2004.
As civil society resource organization, Penabulu’s vision is empowered Indonesia civil society, which is believed will be realized by strengthening the position and sustainability of the role of civil society organizations in Indonesia through enhancement of capacity and capability of the organization; mobilization, management and distribution of resources; development of equal partnerships between other development sectors; as well as the promotion of public participation and community involvement as widely as possible.
Penabulu is worked on the following strategic issues: Inclusive Development; Sustainable Market; Public–Private–
Community Partnership; Environment and Climate Change; Rural Development; Public Health; Public
Accountability; Institutional Building; ICT and Knowledge Management.
