The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA, Korean: 한국 국제 협력단) is a South Korean Government Agency established to maximize the effectiveness of Korean assistance to developing countries. The assistance can be in the form of grants or technical cooperation programs. The agency was established by the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on April 1, 1991.
