About Us
Daya Makara UI (DMUI) is a Special Business Unit of the University of Indonesia that was established on January 9th, 2004. DMUI’s main objective is to actively operate in multiple activity lines, including education, communication, and trade according to the third article of its establishment act. As a multidisciplinary research institution, DMUI is directly supervised by the Rector of Universitas Indonesia. DMUI has engaged with numerous governmental institutions, development agencies, and private business entities throughout its active years.
On February 28th 2023, DMUI established Sustainable Development Research Cluster to enhance its involvement in realizing nature-resilient development programs across Indonesia by 2050 through high-quality and policy-oriented research programs.
