International Institute of Peace and Development Studies (IIPDS), Thailand and International School of Advance Studies (ISAS), Nepal are offering a 5-day training course on Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation including Project Planning and Designing. M&E has become common practice of civil society organizations, international development agencies and NGOs to manage their projects and programmes effectively. This training course addresses M&E with a view to results on thematic area. The participants will therefore learn the basic principles of the results-based M&E including project planning and designing and will understand how to design a results-based M&E system. The course will further introduce a variety of templates to manage the monitoring and its linkage with log frame. The participants will learn a wide range of approaches and instruments for recording and analyzing data.
By the end of this course, the participants will be equipped with enhanced designing and management tools to monitor and evaluate projects more adequately to meet the needs of the beneficiaries of different projects/programs. The course builds up a clear body of theory, understanding and skills for each step in the process, so that by the end of the course participants will have a clear competence across all stages of the results-based M&E and project planning and designing.
