Something About Company
Selamatkan Yaki is a research, conservation and education programme based in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. In collaboration with the Pacific Institute (Indonesia) and the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust (UK), Selamatkan Yaki aims to protect the Critically Endangered Sulawesi crested black macaque (Macaca nigra) and its native habitat.
The programme vision is:
“Macaca nigra flourish as self-sustaining populations in their native habitat within healthy, balanced and well-protected ecosystems and are recognised as a symbol of local and national pride.”
