The Project Child Indonesia (PCI) is looking for interns and volunteers with its main office in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. PCI is a locally run community-based non-profit NGO committed to building sustainable improvement among coastal and riverside communities of Indonesia. At the moment, PCI is working in the area of Yogyakarta and Pacitan, East Java. PCI believes that the communities living in the areas are the most vulnerable groups especially when it comes to education, health, and natural disaster awareness.
Project Child Indonesia provides opportunities for young people who are inspired by the ideas and work of PCI to gain practiced skills working on PCI’s projects. The projects themselves are designed to provide the children as many as opportunities to improve their learning capacity, to live healthily, to feel supported and to live safely in a clean environment that is equipped for natural disaster preparation.
