About Us
PKBI
(Indonesian Planned Parenthood Association/ IPPA) is a nation-wide
non-government organization that have been working for the fulfillment
of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Indonesia since 1957.
PKBI has 27 chapters in provincial level and 14 clinics.
PKBI
also have young forum in Indonesia and online forum as well to discuss
several issues around Indonesia. The PKBI headquarter office located in
Jakarta. PKBI has annual national meeting in coordination with their
branches all over Indonesia.
As a member of International Planned Parenthood Federation
(IPPF) since 1969, IPPA works towards a society where gender or
sexuality is no longer a source of inequality or stigma. A society where
women, men, and young people have control over their own bodies and
having access to have informed choices based on their sexual and
reproductive health and rights without fear of unwanted pregnancies and
sexual transmitted infections.
