At the heart of Pact is the promise of a better tomorrow. A non-profit international development organization founded in 1971, Pact works on the ground in nearly 40 countries to improve the lives of those who are challenged by poverty and marginalization. We serve these communities because we envision a world where everyone owns their future.
One of Pact projects is USAID Sustainable Environmental Governance Across Regions (SEGAR). A five-year Activity designed to advance Indonesia´s development objectives in balancing biodiversity conservation and sustainable land use with inclusive economic and livelihoods development. USAID SEGAR works collaboratively with multi actors in the twelve targeted subnational jurisdictions to improve the management of high conservation values (HCV) and high carbon stock (HCS) areas.
