About Us
International Internships facilitates internships, study intensives, immersion and unit-based programs in Indonesia and Malaysia, primarily for students of Australian universities. We also provide career mentoring, professional skills development, cross-cultural communication and language training. We have been facilitating in-country and online programs in Indonesia for over 15 years, but we are always growing and changing as the environments in which we work grow and change.
We work with a wide range of stakeholders throughout Indonesia and Australia, including individual students, universities and educational institutions, businesses, government bodies and not-for-profits. Our small team punches above its weight and we have excellent working relationships with our all of our partners, based on mutual trust after years of productive collaborations.
We have successfully pivoted to delivering our programs online in response to COVID-19. The positive reception from our partner organisations and program participants has cemented this as a permanent feature of our programs, which we will continue to develop and grow throughout the pandemic then run alongside our in-country programs once international travel resumes.
Our multicultural team includes people from a range of backgrounds, including both Australian and Indonesian citizens, and we pride ourselves upon valuing the diversity of human experience.
We are always innovating and developing what we do at International Internships. With the introduction of IA-CEPA it is now an even more exciting time to be working between Australia and Indonesia and as such we have already taken significant steps to expand the scope of our activities, which presents a range of exciting opportunities for this role.
