Happy Hearts Fund is a non-profit foundation that envisions that every child in Indonesia has access to education by attending safe and earthquake resistant schools.
Therefore we are dedicated to rebuilding schools and restoring hope and opportunity in the lives of children in underprivileged areas. We support local communities in building sustainable and eco-friendly schools and supply them with proper facilities.
Happy Hearts Fund was founded in 2006 by Petra Nemcova to restore hope and opportunity for children impacted by the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.
In 2013, HHF opened its first international chapter in Indonesia which supports the reconstruction of schools impacted by natural disasters. In addition Happy Hearts Indonesia is reaching out to underprivileged communities to receive access to proper education.
Since then HHF has rebuilt more than 120 schools across Indonesia and supported more than 45,000 children in need.
