About Us
The overall objective of the project of which this contract is a part is: to promote the visibility of EU regional cooperation programmes in ASEAN and Indonesia.
Through strategic visibility and communication efforts, this action is enhancing the image and awareness of the EU as a cooperation partner in the ASEAN region and increasing knowledge of EU programmes and policies, as well as their results and impact. Specific focus areas include highlighting EU support to EU-ASEAN dialogue; sustainable use of peatland and haze mitigation; ASEAN regional integration; and Indonesia trade-related assistance (with close links to the ARISE Plus programme which supports regional economic integration and trade in ASEAN).
The results of the contract include:
Implementation of a long-term, strategic approach to communicating development cooperation efforts in the region. Organisation of engaging communication and visibility events online and offline.Production and launch of high quality communication and visibility materials.Increased media engagement is established, with improved coverage across all types of media.The awareness of how EU development aid and cooperation benefits ASEAN is increased. The contract is managed by the EU Mission to ASEAN, based at the EU Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam in Jakarta, Indonesia but activities reach out to all ten ASEAN Member States: Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and the Philippines. The specific target groups for the contract are: policy makers, decision makers, media, academia, youth, civil servants and local governments, civil society, the business community, and the general public in the EU and ASEAN.
