About Us
ASEAN Foundation was established during ASEAN’s 30th Anniversary Summit in Kuala Lumpur on 15 December 1997, an organisation from and for the people of ASEAN. As an ASEAN entity, the Foundation is tasked to support ASEAN Community building efforts by promoting greater awareness of the ASEAN identity, human resources development, people to people interaction, and close collaboration among the business actor, civil society, academia, and other stakeholders in ASEAN.
