About the Role
We are seeking a structured, analytical, and research-oriented Sustainability Intern to support our consulting team in reviewing sustainability standards, ESG frameworks, climate regulations, and environmental compliance requirements. This role focuses entirely on technical research and analytical support, helping translate global and local sustainability frameworks into practical insights for clients across real estate and corporate sectors. This position is ideal for final-year students in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science who are passionate about policy, climate governance, and sustainability strategy.
Responsibilities
Research & Technical Analysis (100%)
Review and summarise sustainability standards and frameworks (GRI, ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, GRESB, etc.)
Map requirements across different ESG reporting frameworks
Monitor Indonesian and international environmental regulations
Summarise new climate-related policies and ESG disclosure requirements
Develop internal sustainability knowledge briefs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Science
Fresh graduate or < 1 year experience in sustainability or ESG consultancy
Able to perform Policy and regulatory analysis
Understand the ESG framework mapping
Structured research and synthesis
Strong written and verbal communication skills (professional proficiency in English required)
High level of organisational and time-management skills
Comfortable working with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
Additional Skills
Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, ISSB, etc.)
Experience in academic research or a thesis related to sustainability
