MSH started working in Indonesia in 1980 with a focus on improving child health, decentralizing health services, expanding access to care and treatment for TB, and strengthening pharmaceutical management. In 2023, MSH was awarded the five-year USAID BEBAS-TB activity to reduce TB incidence and mortality by addressing critical gaps and challenges in the TB program. This activity builds on the work of previous USAID projects and aims to improve access and utilization of quality and patient-centered comprehensive TB services. To achieve the objectives, MSH is looking for Sub Grants Specialist.
Overall Responsibilities
The Sub-Grants Specialist will be responsible in the assurance that the process of planning, announcement of solicitation and submission of applications, selection of grantees, award, monitoring throughout the life of subgrant agreements, administration and close out runs well and comply with the Bebas TB – Grants Manual and follow the USAID regulation. To fulfil that, Sub-Grants Specialist will need to do several reviews, prepare learning materials, execute field visit and field audit.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
– Required: bachelor’s degree in accounting, Management, or Finance related.
– Preferred: Partial professional qualification in ACCA or CPA
Experience
– Min 4+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar post.
– At least 2+ years’ experience working on a U.S. Government, donor-funded project, or Non-Governmental Organization preferred.
Added Value
– Experience as internal auditor or quality assurance is an added value.
– Experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning tools.
– Hands-on experience in processing the full grants cycle.
Knowledge and Skill
– Knowledge of USAID regulations.
– Analytical thinking.
– Ability to detect potential problem.
– Ability to transfer knowledge, design and develop learning materials.
– Solid computer skills especially on spreadsheet modelling.
– Highly organized, fast learner with good interpersonal and time management skills.
– Capacity to deal with multi-tasks and be able to adhere to tight deadlines in a busy environment, and excellent time management skills.
– Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
