- Education/training: Doctorate degree in Environment, Public Policy, Climate
Change, or related discipline. - Language: business fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English C1
- General professional experience: 15 years of professional experience in the
Climate Change issue - Specific professional experience :
− 15 years’ experience in climate change thematic areas (mitigation, adaptation, means
of implementation, transparency frameworks, etc)
− proven ability to strategically inform policy decisions for example, at inter-
governmental environmental meetings, including the UNFCCC Conference of Parties
and its Subsidiary Bodies meetings and inter-agency meetings, etc
− Knowledgeable about main task and function of the MoE as national focal point of
UNFCCC, climate change regulations and policies, and other related issues
− Have good understanding and experience in developing climate change documents
such as NDC (Nationally Determined Contribution), LTS-LCCR (Long Term Strategy – Low Carbon and Climate Resilience), BTR (Biennial Transparency Reports).
− Good interpersonal relationships and communication skills and familiar with the
government’s working environment, specifically Ministry of Environment
− Have high initiative and good work commitment, able to work in a team or
independently, and able to adapt well.
