As we are constantly expanding, we are currently hiring to fill the following position for our office in Jakarta:

Social Media & Website Development Coordinator

(Code: SMWD-C)

 Social Media and Website Development Coordinator will be part of Konservasi Indonesia’s national communications and partnership team to deliver and implement Konservasi Indonesia’s communications strategy and plan. This position will be responsible for managing digital communications engagement through KI’s owned digital media platforms, such as: website, social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook Page, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn).


Social Media and Website Development Coordinator will be responsible to manage Konservasi Indonesia’s digital media platforms, including managing digital media strategy implementation plan, editorial calendar and content development, as well as regular updates in KI’s website. This position will supervise KI team in developing content for digital platforms as well as partners engagement as necessary. This position will be working closely with Senior Visual Communications Officer, communications team, and program team in developing content and visuals for digital media platforms.



  1. Social Media plan and management
  • Assist in creating and implementing social media strategy for Konservasi Indonesia and aligning it with team priorities and communication activities, especially in finding innovative ways to increase the performance and methodically conducting social media campaigns,
  • Collaborating with the communication team in planning the monthly editorial plan, including the content development for each social media account,
  • Oversee and work with Acting Branding & Digital Communication Manager to manage social media accounts and disseminate targeting messaging to key audiences (comment moderation and or engaging with respective social media accounts’ followers),
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies for best practices application in social media campaigns to accelerate follower, conversation, and engagement growth,
  • Desktop research and identify potential partners (network), developed a user-friendly database, and maintain relationships with existing online partners (influencers, communities),
  • Photo editing and management for Konservasi Indonesia’s photo bank and TandemVault (images library),
  • Prepare quarterly monitoring and evaluation report to improve KI social media engagement and effectiveness.
  1. Coordinate Konservasi Indonesia’s website:
  • Coordinate regular updates and content development for KI’s website, in collaboration with KI communications, eco region and program team,
  • Coordinate the content of website to make sure the information is up-to-date and bilingual,
  • Produce quarterly monitoring and evaluation report for the website (i.e., website visitors, time to first byte, geographic performance, full page load time, broken link etc.) and recommendation to improve KI’s website performance,
  • Working with external vendor/IT team for website maintenance, increase SEO, etc


  • Ensure compliance with Konservasi Indonesia’s brand guide and communications protocol.
  • Ensure compliance with Konservasi Indonesia’s policies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for collaboration and content creation as needed.
  • Travelling to field sites as required to support the production of digital communications materials/updates, i.e., live report from field sites.



  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or social science, with minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing digital media platforms including website and social media.
  • Having skill on graphic design, photo, and video editing.
  • Familiar with each social media platform, up to date, and able to design strategic engagement for each social media based on their characteristics.
  • Strong understanding about environmental issues in Indonesia and able to use digital media platform strategically to support achieving positive impacts for the environment sustainability.
  • Strong experience in content development on environmental issues or social campaign in social media, both in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Good network with digital influencers/endorsers in Indonesia
  • Experience in managing corporate/institutional website.
  • Team player, able to work with the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion.


  • Work is performed in a typical office environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours to meet deadlines as needed.
