Through provision of technical expertise, ASEAN-USAID Partnership Program provides institutional strengthening and support to increase ASEAN’s capacity to better resolve regional and global challenges and advance an effective, rules-based architecture for cooperation among governments in the region to uphold human dignity and the rule of law.

889 Compliance:
As you may have heard, the U.S. Government has implemented a regulation designed to counter China’s interference in and through U.S. communications. The new regulation, short title “889”, imposes restrictive use and procurement measures regarding certain Chinese products and services using Chinese technology on contractors and their supply chain vendors and service providers.
