Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Project Assistant for MEMPHIS-PGA Project in Lombok, NTB and Pandeglang, Banten.

Reporting Line:

The post holder would directly report to the Livelihood Specialist under the guidance of the Area Coordinator.

Overall Responsibility:

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Area Coordinator and Livelihood Specialist, the Project will assist in technical implementation the Make Extreme Poverty History Through Poor Graduation Approach (MEMPHIS-PGA) project adhered to the project focus and desired modality. S/he will liaise with project stakeholder (project team, local government, local partners, volunteers, right holders and etc). In addition, s/he will work closely with Livelihood Specialist, Program Officer, and MEAL officer to ensure project deliverables achieved on scope, time and budget.

S/He must perform her/his assigned areas with respect to technical assessments, awareness raising, rights holders profiling, designing and delivering trainings. The respected position will support the Program Officer and the Livelihood Specialist in implementing the project and providing support and assistance to Right Holders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement all project activities according to the detailed implementation plan.
Assist the Livelihood Specialist in the implementation of poverty graduation component including but not limited to beneficiary selection, needs and market assessment, Livelihood business planning, training, cash transfer, regular business coaching/mentoring, linkage to social safety net, Self Help Group (SHG) development, Saving mechanism development, etc based on agreed tools by Islamic Relief and Partners.
Assist the Livelihood Specialist in tracking the progress of project implementation on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Represent Islamic relief in the project area.
Assist the Livelihood Specialist in documenting project learning, meetings, changes and activity reports undertaken by project team.
Assist the data management in Islamic Relief and partners.
Assist the Livelihood Specialist in maintaining close relationship with TKPKD (Tim Koordinasi Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Daerah) working group at district and province level.
Liaises with partners, GO and NGOs to exchange knowledge and good practices of Poverty Graduation Model.
Work on AX system to ensure all compliance related to finance, logistic are settled.
Assist the Livelihood Specialist in preparing any form of report (weekly, monthly and progress report).
Along with partner assist the Livelihood Specialist in leading, assessing and reviewing the performance of the volunteers and prepare recommendation for improvement.
Strong initiative and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principle.
Able to write report quality report supported by data and evidence
Fulfill other tasks based on relevant assignments and tasks

Knowledge and Skills:

Computer literate with fluency of using Microsoft Word, Excel, survey tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is preferred but not required;
Organizational and time management skills required;
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team;
Good communications and interpersonal skills.
Excellent competence in participatory rural appraisals such as transect walk, well-being analysis, etc.

Experience:

The applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in in agriculture, agribusiness, veterinary, development studies, social welfare, management or other related fields, with at least 2 years’ experience in program related jobs;
Two years minimum experience in poverty reduction, economic and livelihood development, microfinance or relevant field.
Have experiences working with implementing partners such local NGO or government
Capacity to work under pressure, in remote location and with basic condition/ facility.
