Habitat Indonesia is seeking of a Project Accountant who will assist Senior Project Accountant to coordinates the assigned projects and the organization’s financial needs and requirements in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with HFH Indonesia Policies, guidelines, and local laws and regulations; insure the stewardship of the organization’s resources. Also work closely with the Finance team and relevant stakeholders and assist Senior Project Accountant to oversee and review of financial statements and activities related therein, to provide accuracy and transparency donor reports in a timely manner. Preparation for restricted project audit, annual external audits, and internal audit.
Job Description
- Prepare donor reports as per donor requirements (certain donors).
- Review payment for certain donors.
- Assist to prepare donor budget lines.
- Assist to provide financial report with some analysis and recommendation to be used for project/management decision making.
- Assist to ensure timely recording of financial transactions based on the correct budget charging and account codes.
- Assist to review bank reconciliations for accuracy.
- Other duties consistent with the overall focus of HFHI as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Financial Management, or qualification from a recognized professional accounting body (CPA or ACCA).
- Requires a minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, a practical knowledge of financial systems and internal financial controls.
- Good knowledge of SUN system, Vision, Excel, and Word
