Job Objective:
The main purpose of the position is to design and execute project development and support the project management teams in Habitat Indonesia’s working areas.
Job Description:
- Conduct desk and field research on program/project initiative.
- Generate program/project proposals to potential donors.
- Control project performance and compliance to the agreed standards and provide corrective action plans against significant deviations.
- Generate program/project reports to the donors.
- Periodically provide program knowledge to the fundraisers.
- Other activities to support the Operations Department.
Qualifications and requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in social sciences or any other related fields.
- Proven experience (min. 3 years) in humanitarian and/or development works, especially in program development and project management.
- Ability to generate technical proposals (including desk research, field assessment, data analysis, logical framework development, content writing, and budgeting).
- Cross cultural sensitivity, showing respect to different cultural norms and adaptable to different cultural contexts.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Good skill in personal computer operation – Word processing, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to travel (25%) to Habitat Indonesia’s sites.
- Placement at National Office.
