MSH started working in Indonesia in 1980 with a focus on improving child health, decentralizing health services, expanding access to care and treatment for TB, and strengthening pharmaceutical management. In 2023, MSH was awarded the five-year USAID BEBAS-TB activity to reduce TB incidence and mortality by addressing critical gaps and challenges in the TB program. This activity builds on the work of previous USAID projects and aims to improve access and utilization of quality and patient-centered comprehensive TB services. To achieve the objectives, MSH is looking for National Project Manager.
Overall Responsibilities
The National Project Manager will work closely under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party and in coordination with the Technical and MERL teams at the National Level, as well as provincial teams, to ensure all USAID BEBAS TB activities are implemented in line with the work plan, on time, and within budget in a quality manner that engages stakeholders from all levels of the health system in the process and promotes long term sustainability. The Project Manager will coordinate closely with the Operation/ Support teams to ensure sufficient and timely assistance to the field team to implement the activities.
The Project Manager will provide managerial support to the DCOP and Provincial teams, as well as technical team, in coordination with the rest of BEBAS TB Management and Operations Team, to ensure efficient and effective use of MSH/Donor resources for the purposes intended. They will ensure compliance with the MSH/Donor procedures, guidelines, and rules.
Specific Responsibilities
The overall responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
(i) Project Management in National covers 4 provinces.
(ii) Operational Coordination
(iii) Occasional Significant Duties
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University majoring in administration, business management, technical or other related majors.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) adds value.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant and progressive experience in Project Management.
- Experience in a USAID or other donor-funded project in an NGO preferred.
- Experience in the use of MS software, Project Management, Outlook, DocuSign, Quickbooks and Deltek Costpoint.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive working knowledge of managing groups of projects with large funds.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills especially when working under pressure.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management and business application software.
- Excellent orientation to detail and demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining one’s individual workload.
- Monitoring/assessing self-performance to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Excellent planning and scheduling skills with a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff, clients, and consultants.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
- Professional written and spoken proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
