Media & IT Department – Social Media Admin, Video Editor, Photographer

Job Description

We are looking for a Content Writer, Social Media Admin, Video Editor, and Photographer to provide support to our media operations. Please check the requirement detail as follows.

1. Social Media Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Project Child Indonesia’s social media accounts and its resources
  • Collaborate with team to strategically build a social media plan
  • Monitor and report the progress of social media plan


  • Fluent in English, especially written
  • Experience in Digital Marketing is a plus

2. Video Editor

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide video-based contents to be used in all of Project Child Indonesia social media accounts
  • Take video footage of classes and volunteer activities on regular basis


  • Familiar with Videography and Video Editing
  • Having camera/kit is a plus

3. Photographer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide image-based contents to be used in all of PCI social media accounts
  • Take picture of classes and volunteer activities on regular basis


  • Entry-level photography skill
  • Having camera is a plus

  • Gaining working experience with PCI
  • Getting an opportunity to make substantive contributions to an NGO’s work

The Project Child Indonesia (PCI) is looking for interns and volunteers with its main office in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. PCI is a locally run community-based non-profit NGO committed to building sustainable improvement among coastal and riverside communities of Indonesia. At the moment, PCI is working in the area of Yogyakarta and Pacitan, East Java. PCI believes that the communities living in the areas are the most vulnerable groups especially when it comes to education, health, and natural disaster awareness.

Project Child Indonesia  provides opportunities for young people who are inspired by the ideas and work of PCI to gain practiced skills working on PCI’s projects. The projects themselves are designed to provide the children as many as opportunities to improve their learning capacity, to live healthily, to feel supported and to live safely in a clean environment that is equipped for natural disaster preparation.
