Job Description
- Leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive and effective communications and outreach strategy of the organization including ongoing campaigns.
- Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the communication and outreach strategy
- Leading the design, development and/or maintenance of communication products, platforms and materials for both external and internal communications
- Managing content production (eg. press releases, statement) for mass media or organization website.
- Coordinating organization of initiatives and events or press conferences
- Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc. (Having a network with journalists is a plus)
- Directing and supervising production of social media content
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from the leadership of Kaoem
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as communications specialist
- Possess excellent communication (written and verbal), copywriting and presentation skills
- Proficient command of English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Passionate, confident, and hardworking
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task
- Experience in web design and content production is a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
- Academic background in public relations, communications, or relevant field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a part of a team
- Able to work under pressure
- Strategic, creative mindset and meticulous attention to detail
