About the Role
We are seeking a technically driven and detail-oriented Green Building Intern to support our green building certification and sustainable building performance projects. This role focuses entirely on project and technical support, including energy-efficiency analysis, certification documentation, energy-modelling assistance, and testing & commissioning activities. You will work closely with certified green building professionals and gain hands-on exposure to real-world sustainability implementation across various building types. This position is ideal for final-year students passionate about building performance, energy efficiency, and climate-responsive design.
Responsibilities
Project & Technical Support (100%)
Support green building certification projects
Assist in building energy modelling (under supervision)
Help analyse energy performance results and identify efficiency opportunities
Assist in the preparation of commissioning plans and documentation
Support site inspections and performance verification activities
Conduct research on green building technologies and best practices
Assist in compliance mapping with local regulations and sustainability standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or Building Physics
Fresh graduate or < 1 year experience in engineering, energy modelling, or similar roles
Able to perform energy performance analysis
Understand the MEP system and/or Testing & Commissioning process
Strong written and verbal communication skills (professional proficiency in English required)
High level of organisational and time-management skills
Comfortable working with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
Additional Skills
Knowledgeable in green building certification systems
