The GESI Specialist will play a strategic role in ensuring that Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) principles are effectively integrated across all project components and implementation processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), local governments, and other stakeholders to promote gender-transformative approaches, strengthen inclusive programming, and ensure that project interventions contribute to equitable and sustainable development outcomes.

Job Requirements

(Location Work: Hybrid – Cross Area Travel in East Nusa Tenggara/NTT)

• Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Development Studies, International Development, or other related fields. A Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), women’s empowerment, community development, international development, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), Gender Transformative Approaches (GTA), women’s economic empowerment, disability inclusion, and safeguarding principles.
• Proven experience in developing and facilitating training modules, workshops, and Training of Trainers (ToT) for diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting gender analysis, developing GESI strategies, and integrating GESI into project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), local governments, community groups, and development partners.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly across YKDA’s intervention areas in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
• Excellent written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia. Proficiency in English is considered an advantage
