The  LCDI (Low Carbon Development Initiative) team at Oxford Policy Management is currently seeking a Finance and Operations Officer on a fixed term basis for 6 months.

The position will be located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Support LCDI Project Finance & Operations Manager  with financial, operation, administration and project budgeting.

Key objectives include:

  • Provide operational and administrative support on implemented projects, be responsible for day-to-day project tasks under the supervision of Project Finance & Operations Manager or the respective Programme Manager who is ultimately responsible for the delivery of projects

Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Behaviours

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in business administration/general management is preferable.
  • Demonstrable, strong and extensive experience on handling finance and administration; and logistical tasks, such as reserving flights and accommodation, finding and liaising with vendors, etc.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and finance principles, tax compliance and all types of monthly tax returns is preferable
  • Willing to work on a tight schedule
  • Good computer skills especially on Microsoft Excel skill is a must and knowledge on usage of web-based software is beneficial.
  • Good English language skills, both spoken and written and know how to communicate well with the team.
  • Enthusiasm, drive, presence and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work co-operatively and confidently with all stakeholders.
  • Must possess good attitude and ethical behaviours in dealing with all stakeholders.
