Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance and HR Supervisor to oversee
the daily operations of our finance and accounting department, with HR practices to optimize
workforce performance. The ideal candidate will support both HR and finance teams in
developing and executing day-to-day operations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of
financial data, managing human resources development, preparing financial and tax reports,
also assist with treasury and human resources related practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management & Supervision:
- Supervise a team of accountants and finance staff, coordinate daily, monthly, and annual tasks to ensure that accounting, finance and HR related are
- completed in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Financial and Tax Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax reports, ensuring they are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulation.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standard (PSAK) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of invoices and payments.
- Monitor cash flow management and collections to maintain financial stability.
4. Payroll & Human Resources Development:
- Ensure that all HR-related practices comply with regulations (e.g., tax laws, labor laws).
- Conduct HR programs like employee development programs, recruitment and employee performance evaluation.
- Oversee the accuracy of payroll calculation and processing in a timely manner.
5. Month-End, Year-End Close and Audit Support
- Manage and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded and deadlines are met.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and records are provided in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification is a big plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in finance/accounting and human resources, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience in managing financial reporting, cash management and tax.
- Understanding of HR processes and familiarity with payroll/compensation systems.
- Proven experience with accounting software (e.g. Jurnal, Accurate, Xero, etc.).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, and HR-related practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and etc.).
- High level of confidentiality, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proactive, results-driven, and have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- This position must require to stay in Sintang for first 5-6months, in order to understand how the accounting, finance and HR operations works. Furthermore, the work arrangement will be discussed (either hybrid or back and forth) based on performance and management consideration.
