Job Description

Yayasan Kesejateraan Keluarga Soegijapranata (YKKS) is a non-profit organization based in Semarang. YKKS is anticipating a grant under contract from The USAID-funded Clean Cities Blue Ocean project in Indonesia, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development to carry out effectively the project entitled, “Women in Waste Economic Empowerment: Development and Implementation of Basic Business, Empowerment Skills Training (BBEST) for Women in Waste in Semarang City.

YKKS is seeking a Finance and Administrative Officer who will mainly be responsible to do finance and administrative activity of the project. She/he will report to and support Finance and Administrative Coordinator to ensure the achievement of project activity and delivery /output. The position will also work closely with the CCBO-WWEE Coordinator based in Semarang City and Regional office.

Job Overview

  • Assisting Finance Coordinator in carrying out financial and administrative function of the project;
  • Carrying out transaction and payments for program implementation necessity;
  • Recording the project daily transaction according to USAID CCBO procedures and manual;
  • Inspecting financial accountability report by project staff and ensuring the completion of financial documents for each transaction;
  • Archiving each and every transaction documents of the project;
  • Managing stocks including but not limited to office materials, groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies;
  • Controlling asset usage including but not limited to printer, scanner, PC, and vehicles as well as tracking usage logbook of project assets;
  • Managing staff attendance logbook;
  • Managing and archiving correspondence of the project

Job Requirements Training Officer

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related fields;
  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in finance and administrative role in international donor funded projects with knowledge in finance procedures and reporting as well administrative and office procedures;
  • Experience and ability to check documents thoroughly and able to fully engage in highly administrative tasks;
  • Preferably obtaining driving licences; willing and able to travel across Semarang to carry out financial and administrative task
  • Experience in working with international donor funded organization preferably USAID Funded projects
  • Experience and familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in written and oral English;
  • This position will be based in Semarang City, Central Java.
