About the Organization

Yayasan Bahtera DwipaAbadi (YBDA) is a non-profit organization that focuses on the welfare of the coconut ecosystem community through community development activities and social services for local communities in Indragiri Hilir, Riau. Founded in 1991 by the late Tay Juhana – founder of the Sambu Group, one of the largest integrated coconut companies in the world – the organization has contributed to the regional development of the region. Throughout its journey, YBDA has worked on the construction of a number of important infrastructures, including schools, clinics and places of worship, as well as organized several social events and infrastructure support for smallholder coconut farmers. Currently, YBDA is in the process of strengthening its organizational structure and restructuring its strategy as an effort to keep up with global development. To that end, YBDA invites qualified candidates who also have our passion to become agents of change with a small dynamic team as Finance & Administration Coordinator (FAC) and Field Administrator (FA).

About the Positions

Finance & Administration Coordinator (Code: FAC)

Job Description:

  • Assist the Foundation Director and Foundation Development Manager in establishing a more comprehensive, holistic, and dynamic administrative system of the organization to be utilized for the long run.
  • Create and develop a long-lasting, integrative platform and mechanism in archiving all administrative and financial documents acquired from all YBDA work locations.
  • Collect, process, analyze, and verify administrative data from all YBDA work locations.
  • Develop corresponding/letter and report templates/formats to be used internally and externally by all staff.
  • Monitor/supervise the works of YBDA’s Field Administrators at all locations and maintain strong coordination with them in managing all types of administrative and financial affairs of the organization.
  • Maintain good communication with all relevant stakeholders and prepare regular progress report to be presented to Foundation Director.
  • Develop other relevant administrative tools/instruments when needed.

 

Candidate Requirement:

  • Candidate must have a strong passion in working within a nonprofit environment.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from any reputable university with relevant academic background (public administration, finance, economics, management, etc.) and minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent. Candidates with other academic backgrounds with extensive relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidate with minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in administration management and at least 5 years working in a senior management position is more preferable. Professional background in working with nonprofit organization is not necessarily required.
  • Candidate must have strong research skills and willing to be posted in a rural area.
  • Candidate must be a detail-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills (in both Bahasa Indonesia and English).
  • Candidate must be a highly-motivated and creative individual with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Candidate must have good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all levels especially with local people and communities, in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Candidate must be computer literate and tech-savvy with proven leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

 

Field Administrator (Code: FA)

Job Description:

  • Assist the Foundation Director and Lead Administrator in implementing comprehensive, holistic, and dynamic administrative system in the field.
  • Archive all administrative and financial documents acquired from the field.
  • Collect, process, and analyze all administrative data acquired from the field.
  • Support the Lead Administrator in developing corresponding/letter and report templates/formats to be used internally and externally by all staff.
  • Maintain good communication with all relevant stakeholders and prepare regular progress report to be presented to Lead Administrator.
  • Assist the Lead Administrator to develop other relevant administrative tools/instruments when needed.

 

Candidate Requirement:

  • Candidate must have a strong passion in working within a nonprofit environment.
  • Candidate must own at least an Associate’s Degree Level 3 (Diploma III/D3) from any reputable higher education institution with relevant academic background (public administration, finance, economics, management, etc.) and minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent. Candidates with other academic backgrounds but possess relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidate with minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administration management is more preferable. However, fresh graduates with strong passion and academic background are encouraged to apply. Professional background in working with nonprofit organization is not necessarily required.
