Job Description
This is a contract role for an Economic Researcher. The Economic Researcher will be responsible for conducting economic research, performing statistical analyses, as well as providing the policy analysis for energy transition in Indonesia. The individual will also need to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders. This is an on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics Science, Development Economic Studies, Public Policy or related field with relevant portfolios
- Having minimum 4 years experiences in Research fields.
- Excel in Project Management, managing External communication with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in writing Research Studies, Economics Research Reports, etc.
- Excel in Economic Research and Analytical Skills
- Proficiency in research methods (Both Qualitative and Quantitative)
- Experience in Policy Analysis, designing the sectoral and spatial regional development policies.
- Good understanding of Macroeconomic concepts.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Having an understanding of input-output (I-O) analysis as well as Regional Development Planning Policy (RPJPD, RPJMD, RPKD) is a plus
- Familiarity with climate change and energy policy
- Having a good experiences in leading Research Projects.
- Interest in issues related to energy transition, especially bioenergy, forests and the environment sustainability.
