DATABASE AND DATA EVALUATOR OFFICER

Established in 2006, AKSANSI is an Association of Community Based Organization (CBO) Sanitation troughout Indonesia. AKSANSI is a bottom up organization and play roles as the umbrella organization which accommodates the needs of CBO in order to maintain a sustainable operational and maintenance of the Community Based Sanitation (CBS) system both in technical and social aspect with various Post Construction activities.

AKSANSI Secretariat is the representative of AKSANSI to conduct Operational and official administration and so far managing 32 AKSANSI branches in the city level and 6 Branches in provincial level. Under BORDA project, AKSANSI Secretariat achieve the sustainable resources management in Southeast Asia.

AKSANSI is currently looking for Database and Data Evaluator Officer with the following job descriptions:

  1. Pre-Monitoring and Monitoring
  • Updating form and data collection including joint combine monitoring with Local Government under Cooperation cities
  • Data entry and Evaluate pre-monitoring and monitoring result
  • Analyze data collected through Pre-monitoring and monitoring result and share findings with key internal and external stakeholder on a regular basis
  • Provide timely reporting arrangements are in place and utilization as part of corrective action

 

  1. Data Management
  • Update CBO information from BORDA Partner and CBOs
  • Contribute in GIS of project implementation
  • Analyze and visualize data presentation of CBOs, Branches of Aksansi and Aksansi Secretariat based qualitative and quantitative data collection
  • Closely work with program team on contributing and support in carrying out analysis on Community Based Sanitation at the national, provincial and district levels
  • Provide ongoing and detailed database information including High-quality data presentations, data maps, statistical spreadsheets to program team and external stakeholder
  • Support project design and proposal writing process within team especially in developing project logic, and the log frame
  • Provision of high quality of data and strategic inputs for improving implementation of evaluation recommendations.

 

  1. Sustainable Operational Maintenance (O&M) Activities
  • Facilitating the post construction activities including community meeting with CBO and Village Authorities

 

  1. Corrective Action
  • Support the development of corrective action concept, planning, proposal and execution including assessment, feasibility study, and Community engagement Budget for revitalization or retrofitting the existing CBS
  • Support the identification, documentation, synthesis of lesson learned and dissemination of the corrective action including the follow up action to be integrated into broader knowledge management efforts

 

  1. Co Management and Innovation
  • Support Liaison with local government on Co Management Approach

 

  1. Pre-Construction of Community Based Sanitation
  • Updating the health and sanitation survey form
  • Assist the communities in community sanitation need assessment, baseline study, sanitation local agent of change and sanitation mapping
  • Applying concept for Edutainment based on environment, gender and vulnerable group perspective

Required Competence and Qualification

Formal Education

D3 OR S1 from relevant subject preferably from statistics

Basic qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (especially Excel)
  • Experience in statistical software is an advantage
  • Familiar with electronic tools
  • Active English
  • Time flexible and willing to travel to project locations
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to fit with plural/international team members

 

Work experience

  • Fresh graduates with significant knowledge on data managements and GIS software are encouraged to apply.
  • Experiences in Community Based programs are preferable
